British Slate and Yorkstone Memorials

Here at Baines Memorials we understand the pressures on the environment and carbon footprint heightened awareness. We are very restricted with the materials used for cemeteries and churchyards, with regulations generally stating stone materials must be used without exception.

We responsibly source our memorials from the leading suppliers in the country ensuring the highest quantity. We order in ‘batches’ from our Indian quarry supplies, who are based in Salford Manchester, so they are delivered monthly to us (aiming to reduce carbon emissions for transport).

However, if you want a British sourced stone we have direct contacts with the British quarries. Our slate memorial are so beautiful, with a honed finish and natural strata and striations. We can supply:
